Frequently Asked Questions
Is my tattoo going to hurt?
The short answer is yes but there are plenty of things that play a role in how much tattoos hurt. The placement on your body plays a big role. A tattoo on your arm will hurt less than one on your ribs. Type of tattoo, fully shaded will hurt more than and outline. your personal tolerance for pain will play a role as well.
Can i bring a friend?
Yes you can bring a friend with you for support if you like but please don’t bring a whole fleet of people with you. The studio isn’t accommodating for large amounts of people.
Do you tattoo minors?
No, you must be 18 or older with a valid ID.
Where is your studio located?
I work in a licensed Tattoo studio in Saint Charles, MO. The exact location will be disclosed when we confirm booking. This is for safety reasons.
Can i use numbing cream?
There are so many options for numbing cream some okay and some not. Every person will have a different reaction to numbing cream. it can affect how your tattoo heals which would be on the client and not the artist. Some numbing creams change the texture of your skin and make your skin rubbery and hard to tattoo. Always check with your artist and see if its oaky first.
How much will my tattoo cost?
I price my tattoos according to the tattoo you are seeking to get. Some are priced piece by piece some are priced hourly. Larger pieces like arm sleeves, leg sleeves, back pieces that will take multiple sessions are priced by the hour. Smaller pieces are priced piece by piece.
Can you draw me something first to see if i like? / When can i see the design?
This is where coming in knowing what you want in a tattoo is important. No, i do not draw for any appointment until i have a deposit for the appointment. Drawing for anyone in hopes that they might book is working for free, and i wouldn’t ask anyone to do that. Find an artist that does the style you like and work with them. Have references for what you are thinking. Your artist will draw something up that is just for you.
No, i don’t send out art before appointments. you see the design the day of your appointment. any minor changes are done right then and there, any big changes may require a reschedule.
This is done to protect and respect my time and yours. Your tattoo is for you and is made to your liking. if i send you a design you could take it and get it done by someone else who will do it “cheaper” or the design will be sent around you multiple people with multiple opinions of what they like or don’t like about it. This process keeps it about you and only you because you are the one being tattooed.
